First question is that I can not figure out why one side of the bed is a bit higher. The body lines match up on 1 side but not the other. I checked to make sure I used all the rubber pads and both sides are the same. Any ideas why it is like that?

Second question: I guess I read the directions wrong when adding the blocks, on the 3rd body mount there is a triangle bracket, I flipped it and it looked like it lined up with the bolt holes in the body. Then I saw that I was supposed to use brackets, but the brackets end up being like 2" under the body and it would look retarded. I havent really looked but I have never seen anyones truck with that bracket hanging down.
The mount is the one that is under the middle of the 2 doors.
Did I do something wrong?

Frist quest - no idea. are you sure both sides were done exactly the same way? can you double check all 4 mounting points for the bed and make sure they are tight and not sitting akwardly creating too much lift on one side?

Sec quest - have you got any pictures?

do you want me to take some pictures and send to you of my set up?

Do you have Gen1 or Gen2? On mine one of the nipples that the block sits on was a little bit larger. I had to drill out the block so it would go all the way on.

I checked every bed mount, they all look the same and straight and they are all tight. All I can think of is that the rubber pads might be the problem, not sure though.

The steering extension was machined wrong, the spline pattern is off a couple notches so the the flat part of the shaft does not line up. They are shipping me a new one.

can't wait to see pictures.

bummer about the steering extension. that parts a pain to deal with even if it is machined correctly.

Had the same thing happen when I did mine. Never did figure it out. I eventually settled on telling people that the frame was twisted (lie). I measured the distance between the body and the body mounts and they were all identical.

if I recall there are some rubber washer type things between some of the body mounts and the body....maybe some fell out and some didn't???? Maybe Nissan uses them to make small corrections like for what you are seeing?

I got the body line fixed!

Either my frame is bent of the bed is bent. It seems that the body line on my driver side has always been off.

So I changed the rubber pad on the driver side front bed mount to a much thinner one and it fixxed everything.

On the body mounts under the doors (third mount) I left the triangle mount on the wrong way and screwed the brackets to the body. I did not use the extention brackets.

I still need to fix some rust before I put the front bumper back on. I also need to get my shifter welded and the crush blocks welded.

The "crush blocks" can be JB welded from what I understand. I did weld mine on the old HB but I heard from others that they had no problem with JB welding them.

The instuctions mention you can JB weld them for a temp fix until you can have them welded.

I think some people left it as a permanent fix.

I got a new steering extension, it is WRONG too! I guess they didnt believe they sent me the wrong thing again so I had to send them a pic.

The guide spline on my steering shaft is directly opposite where the flat part of the shaft is. Hopefully you can see that the guide spline on the extension is almost 90 degrees off, it is where the C is on the directions.
